As kids head off and are back to school, now is a great time to bring your vehicle in so we can inspect it for you. Following the recommended maintenance schedule for your vehicle will help make sure all the parts and components work well. If you notice an issue with the vehicle, you will want to schedule an appointment with us. This will help prevent even further problems from occurring with your vehicle. If you notice a leak, ignoring it can do damage to other parts. The overall result is a vehicle that may be broke down, as well as a costly repair bill.
Make sure to take the time to check all the fluids in the vehicle. They should be at the proper levels indicated by the reservoir of each. If they are not at the line, make sure to add more of that fluid so it can be topped off. When a fluid is constantly low, that can be a sign of a leak in the system. There could be a crack or hole in the hose or reservoir of that certain fluid. Schedule an appointment so we can inspect it for you. Remember to also follow the recommended oil change schedule. Keeping fresh clean oil in the vehicle will keep the engine operating efficiently as well.
Remember Lights and Blinkers
Now is also a good time to check the lights and blinkers on your vehicle. As the days start to become shorter you will want to make sure to turn on the headlights of your vehicle. Not only does this help to illuminate the road in front of you, but it will also help others to see you as you drive. If you have to turn, you will want to make sure that the blinkers and turn signals are working properly. When one is out, then the traffic around you will not be able to determine which way you are turning, or if you are turning at all.
